Western Association of Women Historians Annual Conference
Call for Papers – Portland, OR – May 16-18, 2013 at Portland State University. Submission forms and guidelines at: www.wawh.org, Deadline September 14, 2012. All fields and periods of history are welcome, as are roundtables on issues of interest to the historical profession. In order to foster discussions across national boundaries, we particularly encourage the submission of panels organized along thematic rather than national lines. The Program Committee also invites self-nominations from scholars willing to serve as commentators or panel chairs. If you plan to attend the 2013 meeting and would like to apply to serve as a chair or commentator, please submit a brief statement outlining your fields of research, areas of expertise, and topics of special interest and your short vitae. Specify the role(s) you are willing to play.
